Customized Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGV)

InSystems proANT AGVs

InSystems produces customized autonomous guided vehicles that can be easily integrated into your production process.

Loads, transport routes and transfer heights are unique for every production site. For this reason we adapt our vehicles to our customers’ needs, so that only minimal changes to machines and storage technology are required.

The vehicles can share their transport routes with workers, as the proANT AGV vehicles guarantee personal safety. Thanks to certified security functions, the robots identify humans and can stop even if someone steps into their path suddenly.  More on safety functions.

Our proANT AGVs navigate autonomously. They find their path on their own, avoid obstacles and calculate alternative routes to reach their destination in the shortest time. To avoid jams, the proANT AGVs communicate among each other and with their control center.

For human detection functions as well as for battery technology, control and communication, we rely on standardized and proven components. Over the course of our various projects, we have established a modular system that allows us to build many different types of vehicles. Typically, we create vehicles for loads in the range between 20kg and 200kg, but the design of maxi-vehicles for loads over 1000kg is also possible.

Components of a proANT AGV System

Our autonomous guided vehicle systems consist of the following components:

  • 1 to n vehicle (s)
  • at least one charging station
  • optional: opportunity charging on a transport station.

  • AIC – AGV Interface Controller
  • fleet management software
  • optional: web visualization

  • WLAN for the communication between vehicles and software components
  • communication components for the hardware handshake between AGV and machine or stations (e.g. data light barriers)

Further information about the components of an autonomous navigating system can be found here.

InSystems supplies all hardware and software components as turn-key projects. Further information about our range of products and services in AGV systems are available on our website.
