Transport robots and their multiple uses

InSystems develops customized transport robots for many different uses. The loads carried, transport routes and load passing heights always differ between production sites. Therefore, InSystems makes sure to take each customer’s specific production environment and its controls into account when creating an automation solution in order to keep any alterations that may need to be done to pre-existing machines and storage technology at a minimum.
For all those interested in how such a customized solution may be developed and implemented in real-life cases, we have assembled a few examples below to illustrate our work.

 Anwendungen DYCONEX

Navigation across three different floors

For the Swiss technology firm DYCONEX, we developed a customized material flow-system with autonomously navigating transport robots. These robots navigate across three floors using the pre-existing lifts and cross zones with special cleanliness requirements, doors and locks. The fleet is made up of our proANT AGV 436-robots with installed lifting- and slightly modified load pick-up-features. What they transport are stackable  (590x470x95 mm) and standard (600x400x300 mm) SLC packages.

Anwendungen Bierbaum Unternehmensgruppe

Transport of 100kg paint barrels

We developed a driverless transport system consisting of four autonomously navigating transport robots of the proANT AGV 490-series for Germany’s largest producer of bed linen, the Bierbaum Unternehmensgruppe. These vehicles are deployed within a plant between the paint supply and four printing machines. They transport open paint barrels with differing dimensions and weights of up to 100 kg, which before had to be loaded onto pushcarts and moved manually.
